Nehalem Pack 39 A Mate's Forgiveness

A MateHello! Its insane how fast this year has gone by. Its as if I blink and my kids are taller and its gone from summer to winter. Insane!!!

The Nehalem Pack saga continues with book 39! I can't believe we're on book 39!!!!
A Mate's Forgiveness is Lucas and Bane's story. Lucas was introduced into this series as a baby. Well he's all grown up now and looking to stake his claim on his mate. A mate who isn't quite human nor a shifter.

I love the character of Bane. He's had a rough introduction into the shifter world and anyone would be able to relate to his fear and hatred toward shifters. But the connection he shares with Lucas makes his question everything he thought he knew.

I love stories like this! Two characters kept apart by circumstances. They must fight for what they want and hope they can make it out a live to see another day.

A Mate's Forgiveness will release on January 5! Hope you guys will enjoy!

Hope everyone had an amazing holiday season and happy reading!!!!

The Alpha's Captive: Cover and Blurb

Hope everyone is having an awesome Monday/Presidents day! My kids are out of school so I'm hiding up in my room trying to get some work done. I'm  finishing up on edits for The Alpha's Captive and starting on The Wolf's Runaway Tiger's edits.

As of right now the Nehalem Pack series has four books with release dates and I just submitted book five last week. I'm having a lot of fun writing this series. The characters really did come to life for me. The words flowed like water out of my brain through my fingertips and to my laptop. If you can't already tell I absolutely love these characters and the story line for each one.

The Nehalem Pack series is centered around three brothers, Devon, Viktor, and Erik. They're wolf shifters who are still dealing with the loss of their parents ten years prior. There's action, love, and a good amount of hope within this series for the characters. I haven't decided how many books this series will be but there are quite a few characters who deserve to have their story told.

Here is the cover and blurb for The Alpha's Captive. Its set to release March 16, 2013.

Blurb

Hunters have taken everything from Devon Carsten. First, they murdered his parents, and now they’ve taken his brother. With no other options left, Devon decides an eye for an eye, or in this case a brother for a son, is the best course of action, and he takes the son of the man who kidnapped his brother. But his plan blows up in his face when he realizes the man in question is his mate.

Aiden Stefano never imagined a weekend at home would start off with him being kidnapped by men claiming to be werewolves or that he would fall for one. Now he must find a way to convince Devon what they share is worth fighting for and prove to his father that wolves aren’t the monsters he believes them to be. Shouldn’t be too hard, right?

Aiden is the only thing Devon has to bargain with, but can he give up his mate to save his brother?

Here is a schedule of release dates for the three upcoming titles.

The Wolf's Runaway Tiger- March 30, 2013
His Dominant Omega- April 13, 2013
The Hunter's Sexy Wolf- April 27, 2013

Hope you've enjoyed this little tid-bit and will fall in love with these characters like I have.

Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!!!

Coming Soon: Nehalem Pack

It’s been quite some time since I blogged but I have a good excuse, I've been writing like crazy! I set out with a goal to see how much I could write within a week. Well I gave myself a word count to follow each day and by some miracle in a month in a half I wrote four books. Something like this is easy for some authors, but not for me. I have to contribute my success to the fact that the books basically wrote themselves. I really liked the whole concept around this series and look forward to adding to it.

The Nehalem Pack, as you might have guessed, revolves around a pack of werewolf shifters. Daven is the alpha and the oldest brother. Daven's younger brothers are Viktor and Erik. Their parents were killed when Daven was twenty, Viktor nineteen, and Erik six. Yes, I know, I'm an evil bitch for killing off their parents but it had to be done. It created the men they are now and let’s just say they have issues.

As more info comes in I'll do a posting for each book. I'm really excited for this series. I'm a sucker for a man with emotional problems but can look good while being slightly damaged.

The schedule for the first four books is as follow. All publications date are subject to change.

The Alpha's Captive--April 2013
The Wolf's Runaway Tiger--April 2013
His Dominant Omega--May 2013
The Hunter's Sexy Wolf--May 2013

Hope everyone has a great rest of the week and happy reading!

Special Guest Camile Carson

Camile Carson was kind enough to visit my blog today and without further ado here she is!

I’d like to thank AJ for inviting me to her blog. As a fan of her writing, I’m honored to be in such illustrious company.

I love mysteries, suspense and thrillers. Romance is a new genre for me. Adding spice and a lot of hot flesh to a gripping plot is quite easy. Romance enhances the novel and elevates it to new, orgasmic heights (pun intended.)

I allow the characters to develop themselves. I have grown to love them as if they were real. Letting the cast dictate the direction they want to travel is a unique style. I never use an outline and am quite surprised when I find out “who did it.” On “Lovers and Saints” my latest book published by Siren, I had no idea who the murderer was until the second draft. Combining a cast of suspects and creating a plot utilizing codes, religious icons, and sinister villains is a craft I love. If I don’t know “who did it” the reader might be surprised as well.

I hope you will enjoy “Lovers and Saints” as much as I adored writing it.

STORY EXCERPT

Sam loved being a journalist. As a child she always carried a notebook and pencil. Constantly jotting down events at school, Timmy falls off bike, Cindy scratches knee, Mr. Robbins stinks. It was the beginning of her life. She savored the words and flow of graphite over paper. Now, it was the flurry of fingertips on keyboards, tape recordings, and texting. The technology had changed, but not the words. Words wound threads of thought in her creative head, twisting and turning until the perfect tapestry of thought was produced.

Samantha drove to the gas station and picked up two paper cups of black coffee and a half dozen packets of sugar for Carl. Loving his sweets, Sam felt a twinge of pity for the man and picked up a pack of donuts as well. His stomach was bulging and his hairline receding, but that’s not what bothered Sam. Carl always found a way to touch her, whether it be a pat on the arm, a friendly embrace, or a seemingly innocent brush against her thigh. Sensations of nausea would pang Sam as her skin crawled when he invaded her space.

Briar’s park loomed in front of her. The iron gates stood open. Rust prevented the closure of the security barrier. She could see dew dripping from the birch trees. A small current of breath blew each tender leaf. The park was beautiful this time of day. In a few hours, mothers with their children in tow would invade the serenity and stillness that enveloped her.

Briar’s park was close to Sam’s home and work. Actually, everything in Crompton was intimate. It wasn’t a small town like Mayberry, yet far from New York City. As much as she loved the familiarity, Sam yearned to be a reporter in a big city. One day, she would uncover a huge story that would make her byline known globally. Smiling at this thought, she pulled her Honda into the park and replaced her thoughts of fame with the crime scene ahead.

Yellow tape was being set around the pond, the adjacent playground, and the picnic area. Carl had come through for her again. There was no sign of the press. Once again, he had got Sam to the forefront of a big headline.

“Hey, Copperton, what songbird sang for you this morning?” Detective Grant Wilson yelled across the lawn. She waved and gave him a flashing smile.

“Just felt like taking a walk in the park. What’s going on here? Are you decorating for a birthday party?” Samantha liked Grant. He was sturdy in build, tendrils neglected to lay flat against his slightly graying hair. No matter how neatly dressed he was, she was always drawn to his unkempt coif.

Despite Carl’s objections, Grant had introduced Sam to Paul. There was symmetry that attracted the pair immediately. Grant used to tease Sam that he hand-picked Paul just for her. Like Carl, Grant and Paul had been lifelong pals in Crompton. The three played baseball, football, and skinny-dipped in the stream outside of town. They were brothers. There was another musketeer in the group, one that Sam detested. Andre was nothing like Carl the simpleton, Grant the wise, and Paul the delicious.

“And, you brought coffee. That was sweet.” Grant reached out and grabbed Carl’s coffee.

“Hey that’s for…the birds. Go ahead, enjoy.” Sam felt like one of the family around Grant. Her acceptance into the group was smooth and flowing. Sam thought this must be what having brothers was like.

“Where’s my—oh, you have it. A guy can’t even get a cup of coffee anymore.” Carl joined the two. He started to put his arm around Sam, but she moved slightly closer to Grant. Winking, Grant appeared to catch on.

“Sorry”—Samantha smiled—“Detective Wilson thought the cup was his.”

“Grant thinks everything is his.” There was a bit of sting to the sentence.

The three headed toward the crime scene. Samantha could see a platform sandal in the grass. The closer Sam got to the body, she saw pieces of clothing strewn about. Samantha turned sharply when a hand was placed roughly on her shoulder.

“What the hell are you doing here? The press hasn’t been called. Get back to your little office and write an article on the new supermarket opening.”

It was Andre Carson. Samantha cringed at his stark attitude. She hoped he would be playing cops and robbers elsewhere. Andre’s breath was hot against her neck as he moved in closer. Sam could feel her heart beating against her chest. Anger and a bit of sexual tension seemed to mount whenever Andre was near.

“I was taking an early-morning walk and saw the police cars. I’m nosy, remember?” Samantha shook his hand off of her. Glaring into his sienna eyes, she shuddered under his gaze. Scowling at her, the lines around his mouth touched the faint hint of a mustache. Andre always made Sam a bit agitated and out of control. The aroma of his cologne stopped her, jasmine with a bit of spice, she thought. He should be wearing garlic. Sam began to chuckle at her own inside joke.

“You have no business here. Leave so the police can do their work.” His intense voice penetrated her ears and made Sam’s knees wobble. His black linen jacket brushed against her arm as it flapped in the breeze. Chills ran down her back.

“Come on, Andre,” Carl chided in. “You know she is one of the best investigative reporters around. She even broke the Franco murder case last month. If it wasn’t for her, we never would have found the weapon in the wheel well of Arthur Franco’s car.” Samantha was grateful for Carl’s gracious interruption. It seemed that Carl was particularly protective of her when it came to Andre.

Erica Pike: An Author Worth Reading

Hot HandsGrade-A-Sex DealThe Walls Have EarsHot HandsGrade-A-Sex Deal

Hello! I hope everyone’s having a great Tuesday. I'll be spending mine at the zoo with child number three for his kindergarten field trip. Spring in Missouri is as fickle as ever. But according to he weather man the storms should be moved out by the morning and sun shiny skies. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Okay, on to more important things than the weather. Just recently I discovered a new to me author. Her books are so well thought out with characters you can’t help but fall for. She writes a vulnerability to the men in her stories that had me feeling their pain when times weren’t so good for them. That spark of emotion she adds to her writing hooked me from the first page.

I bet you’re all wonder who this author is that I’ve gone all fan girl on. That would be Ms. Erica Pike. We belong to some of the same yahoo groups and one day I landed on an excerpt for Hot Hands. That was it! Not soon after I went and bought Grade-A-Sex Deal and The Walls Have Ears. These books are part of her College Fun and Gays series.

The stories are short in length and I know how some people complain about that. Not me. Quite frankly I prefer stories that aren’t super long. Because folks, I’m a mother of four children under the age of ten, I work my regular job from home, plus I’m a writer as well. My time is always being stretched in so many different directions its saying a lot when a find an author I consider a must read and Erica Pike has become one of those.

With short stories people tend to question whether or not there was enough information given to become invested in the characters. I must say with Erica’s creativity in her writing she was able to paint the picture of the setting and characters flawlessly. And all the emotions came through loud and clear. I must say within such few pages Erica had me drawn into these men’s lives and I was rooting for them to get that happy ever after.

Each story is different but all have the same underlying theme and that is one character wanting love and never thinking they’re going to find it. And when they do find that love it comes from a person they never would have expected. Definitely gets your heart racing with that will they or won’t they type anticipation.

I highly recommend her books to any lover of M/M romances. Each story can be read as a standalone but I’d recommend reading them all. You’ll be happy you did!

Hot Hands
This story is about a college student who is trying to overcome the fear he suffered through by the hands of fellow classmates when he was younger. Casper is a likable character who is just trying to live his life but gets sidetracked by a secret admirer with a case of grabby hands. This story is extremely fast paced. I was glued to my laptop until the very end. I found the whole mystery behind Casper’s admirer intriguing and then when I found out who the culprit was I was happy and a little outraged on Casper’s behalf. I don’t want to give away the story but a shocking ending.

Grade-A-Sex DealGrade-A-Sex Deal

Who hasn’t had an attraction to a teacher during their youth? Well this takes it one step further and shows the other side of when the teacher is more than willing to accept sex for a grade change. Mr. Corrigan is a heart breaking character whose life has changed all because he decided to be honest with himself and to the people who he thought cared for him. This story is actually pretty sad at times but hit on so many levels of what some people have probably actually gone through in their lives. What I liked about this story is just when you think you know what is going on, bam you get a very pleasant surprise. This is a story about love and hope. A very sweet and touching read.

The Walls Have Ears
The Walls Have Ears
A case of mistaken identity is the theme in this installment. Harley is a young gay man with the hope of maybe just maybe finding a boyfriend and experiencing the things other men his age are. His infatuation with his neighbor goes from bad to worse when said neighbor falls for his roommate. It was saddening at first the pain poor Harley was going through but his crushes roommate, Tasha, swoops in to ease the heartache. As the reader I knew where this story was leading and at times I wanted to reach into my computer screen and slap a clue into Harley’s head. The ending is predictable but that’s not a bad thing in this story because what we as the reader know isn’t what the characters know. So when the truth and feelings come to light it’s a relief.

I’ve given just a smidge of how great this series is. By no means am I doing justice to Ms. Pike’s books. But I have become a fan and feel that any reader who loves M/M romance these books should definitely be on your TBR list. Like I said they are short but that’s the beauty of it. Yes the length is not super long but Ms. Pike writes so well you get the fulfillment as if you just read a six hundred page novel. Strong characters, believable conflicts, equal a series of books that will stay with this reader long after I finished the stories.

Thank you to Erica Pike for bringing these stories to life and I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!

Wednesday Brief: Out of His League Part 7

Hello Wednesday Briefers! This is my first flash fiction in good lord I don’t know how long. LOL! I’ve been busy with edits, kids, and just life in general. But I’m back this week because Kip and Lance needed some attention. J

Since I’ve been horrible with not keeping up with my Wednesday Brief here’s a quick recap.

Lance and Kip play college baseball and have been attracted to each other from day one. But due to Kip dating someone else and Lance’s terrible case of the nerves, they never acted on their feelings. They shared a steamy shower together witch lead to their first date. Out of His League part 6 left off with Lance and Kip sharing a kiss then heading back to Kip’s apartment at Lance’s best friend’s encouragement. That should bring everyone up to date. So I hope you enjoy!

As always I’ll leave the links to my fellow Briefers. Be sure to give them a looksee.

Happy reading!

This week's prompt:....  Take your hands off him!

Alternative prompts

I cry when I hear that music because....

Or

Use a gravestone, a popsicle and a pair of feathered slippers.

Or

There was just something about... that made me want to hide under a blanket

Or

What do you want from me?

Out of His League Part 7

“I was worried you wouldn’t come join me.” Kip’s smiled deepened. His gaze dropped to eat up every inch of Lance’s naked body and his dick began to harden.

Lance chuckled as he pushed Kip out of the way to step under the water. Kip couldn’t tear his eyes from Lance’s body. He seen him before in the locker room shower but knowing now was it, that they were going to seal the deal and have sex made this a whole new ball game.

He wanted to kiss those sweet lips then ride Lance’s body until he was screaming his name to the heavens. Lance was one of those guys Kip could see himself falling in love with. A real kind of love not what he thought he shared with Peter. Lance was kind and caring. All the things he ever wanted in a man.

“Kip, baby?” Lance circled his arms around Kip’s waist and held him close. “Why are you so quiet? That’s usually my thing.” He shrugged as a grin spread across his lips.

Kip tried to swallow around the lump in his throat. To finally see Lance be confident and make the first move was more than he could have expected. Standing up on his toes he brushed his lips against Lance’s. Soft and gentle at first then realizing he needed more to cool the burning fire in his gut, he fisted his fingers in Lance’s silky blond hair and pulled him down, capturing his lips in a bruising kiss.

He could feel a moment’s hesitation in Lance before he unleashed the sexual being residing in his body. Lance turned around pushing Kip up against the cool tile wall. He gasped for breath. Lance took the opportunity to take what Kip was so willing to give. Their tongues dueled in a wet sloppy kiss. Both so eager for what was to come.

The feel of Lance’s hard cock rubbing against his own caused a muffled cry to seep past his lips. Lance slowly pulled back nipping at Kip’s bottom lip as he did. Kip’s mouth hung open begging for more of Lance hot moist tongue.

Lance held his gaze as he slowly worked his way down his body. Kip’s stomach quivered as Lance dropped kissing here and there down his torso. Once Lance was eye level with Kip’s dick he ran his tongue of the head, dipping his tongue into the slit tasting Kip’s pre-cum. Then without warning, Lance engulfed his entire shaft down to the root.

“Sweet Jesus!” Kip couldn’t hold back his scream. He never expected to ever see this side of Lance. And he could honestly say he loved it.

Lance licked and teased the engorged cock making Kip squirm with every hard suck. He started to fidget and bit the inside of his cheek hard. The orgasm pooling in his balls was minutes, if not seconds, away from detonating.

“Lance, stop,” Kip moaned as he gently pulled at Lance’s hair. “If you don’t stop I’m going to come.”

“That’s kind of the point.” Lance stood up and took another step closer to him until their chest touched. A mischievous glint shined in his eyes.

“I know but I want you to be inside me when I come.” Kip rested his hands on Lance’s ass jerking him closer.

“I want that too.”

Kip turned off the water and they got out of the shower. After drying off he led Lance to his bedroom. He didn’t bother with the light. Kip just walked to his dresser grabbed the lube and a condom. He turned to see Lance relaxing back on his elbows as he sat on the bed. Lance caught him staring and curled a finger beckoning him to come to the bed.

He couldn’t help it, Kip followed the command. “Someone is feeling extra sure of himself now.” Kip teased.

“You bring it out in me.” Once Kip reached the bed Lance tugged him down and covered Kip’s body with his own. “I’ve wanted you since the first time I saw you walk out onto the field.” Lance’s face became serious. “I don’t usually do things like this.”

“Like what?” Kip asked as he soaked up the heat coming from his lover’s body.

“Random hook ups. If we do this it’s going to mean something to me.” Lance ran his fingers down the side of his face and Kip closed his eyes at the tender touch.

“What do you want from me?”

“I want you, Kip. I want you for more than a quick fuck.”

If he could have jumped up and down Kip would have. “That’s good because I want you too and not just for tonight.”

Lance smiled down at him them captured his lips in a hard kiss. Their tongues moved in an erotic little dance as they rolled around on the bed. Kip felt around on the bed until he found the supplies he had dropped there. He brought his hand up when he found his prize.

Lance sat up and rolled the condom down his length. Kip watched his every movement in eager anticipation for what was to come. Letting his legs fall to the side he opened up for his lover. Lance crawled forward until the head of his cock kissed Kip’s pucker. With a nod of his head Lance pushed forward. Kip’s back arched up off the mattress at the slight burn. Lance paused once he was seated deep within Kip’s ass.

“God you feel so good. So tight,” Lance said breathlessly. He started to work his shaft in and out of Kip’s body in a quick pace.

Kip couldn’t speak. All he could do was enjoy the ride. Lance dug his fingers into Kip’s hips as he thrust faster and harder. Kip pushed back to meet Lance’s rhythm. All too soon he felt his balls tighten as his cum shot out his body.

“Kip!” Lance screamed as he filled the condom.

Releases for March

I've been so busy it isn’t even funny. I'm extremely grateful but damn I've been stressing my ass off. But enough of me whining, because let’s face it I could go on forever. LOL!

I have two books set to release this month. Authors who have several books coming out a month, I have no clue how they do it. Edits on top of edits about drove me completely insane. But I must say everyday I'm still shocked to be a published author. All this craziness is very exciting to me and totally worth every gray hair I’m getting.  My husband lets me bitch and moan on his shoulder and that helps. He's a great guy!

The first book coming out this month is Miles's Awakening. It will be the first in my paranormal series Warriors of the Light I'm writing for Siren. I absolutely love Siren Publishing. I buy most of my books from the Book Strand website and they have a ton of authors that have books out that I consider my must reads.

I find it funny how many books that have come out with the word awakening in it. I couldn’t have changed the title though. I started writing this book last year, around February then I shelved it to write Fate's Second Chance. But I kept going back to it because I knew something was there I just had to tweak it some. Long and behold here it is.

There are so many paranormal books out there but they’re all different in some way. Mine is the combining of all shifters and vampires of the world. And the cause of them is in part due to witches. A lot going on in this series but I think it’s fun and high energy. And at times emotional.

Miles's Awakening is set to release March 15. And I just got to say that I love the cover. A personal accomplishment for me is that I finally have a Siren cover. They publish some of my favorite authors, so some very good company to keep.

Second book I have coming out this month is Fate's Fortunate Mistake. It’s the second in the Twists of Fate series releasing through Silver Publishing. This story revolves around Marc's sister Serena and her journey to find her one true love. And it wouldn’t be any fun if I didn’t throw in some obstacles along the way.

Release date for this one is March 31. I'm working on another round of edits so hopefully this date will not change.

Well edits call, so happy reading to all!

Out of His League Part 6

Kip pulled his car into his parking space and turned off the engine. Sweat started too trickled down the side of Lance’s face. The drive back to Kip’s place just didn’t seem long enough. Now he was faced with what would happen next. He knew what he wanted to happened but feared that Kip might have changed his mind.

“So, here we are.” Kip tapped his fingers against the steering wheel.

“Yep.” That was all Lance could think to say. He was nervous and afraid to make the first move. He nodded his head in time with Kip’s tapping fingers.

Kip turned in his seat. “I can see that you’re nervous.” He placed a hand on Lance’s thigh. “I propose we go up to my apartment and eat this pizza. It smells amazing.” Kip dipped his head then looked up at him through his thick eyelashes. “Will you please come upstairs with me, Lance? I hate eating alone,” he said with a pout to his lips.

Lance couldn’t help but laugh. Kip looked so innocent, almost childlike, asking him to come up to his apartment. How could he refuse?

“If I had a nickel for every time I heard that one.” Lance chuckled “Yes, I would love to come eat dinner with you.”

As they got out of the car, Kip grabbed the pizza box from the back seat. Lance followed behind him up the stairs admiring the way Kip’s ass moved under his shorts. The tight globes had a slight jiggle as he moved. Kip had a bounce to his step when he walked. Lance smiled to himself because he too had a little pep to his own. Even if he and Kip didn’t get physical it was still an awesome feeling to spend time with the man.

When they reached Kip’s apartment, he tried to balance the box and unlock the door at the same time. Lance stepped forward and grabbed the pizza from Kip’s hand.

“Here, let me hold that.”

Kip smiled at him then leaned forward to brush his lips across his. “Thanks.”

A slight grin spread across his lips. Kip was so affectionate with him and it warmed him from the inside out. He had to be glowing with happiness. He never dated a guy that had no qualms about kissing and holding hands for all to see. Kip was out and proud and Lance couldn’t have been luckier. He just hoped his shyness didn’t mess the whole thing up.

Kip pushed opened the door and waved a hand in front of him letting Lance go first. As he stepped over the threshold, he jumped when a hand smacked him hard on the right butt cheek. He turned to look at a laughing Kip.

“Hey!”

“Sorry.” Kip continued to laugh. “I just wanted to shock you into loosening up.” Kip shrugged. “And I’ve been dying to give that fine ass a good squeeze.”

Heat seared his cheeks as he turned away from Kip. “Where do you want to eat this pie at?”

“Let’s sit on the couch and eat.” Kip grabbed the remote and flipped on the TV. “I want to watch the ESPN highlights from tonight’s games.” Kip headed toward the kitchen. “Water okay with you?” he shouted over his shoulder.

“Sounds good.” Lance took a seat on the couch. He placed the box on the coffee table and waited for Kip to come back. He didn’t want to be rude and start eating without him.

“Here you go.” Kip handed him a bottle of water then stepped over his lap. Which put his groin right at Lance’s eye level.

An unintentional move on Kip’s part but still caused his throat to go dry. Even when Kip wasn’t trying to he still wound him up. His dick twitched in his shorts and he dropped his hand to adjust the growing erection.

As they at dinner they talked over the game that was on the TV that had gone into overtime. It was in the twelfth inning. The home team’s left fielder came up to bat and hit a line drive right out of the park, scoring his team the winning run.

Lance looked over to Kip when he turned off the TV. He watched him stand up and he met Kip’s eyes as he stared down at him.

“I’m going to go hop in the shower.” He removed his shirt and let it dropped to the floor. Lanced gulped down the drool pooling in his mouth at the breathtaking sight. “If you want, you’re more than welcomed to join me.”

Lance watched as Kip walked down the hallway. He heard the water come on. From where he sat he could see Kip in the reflection of the bathroom mirror. Kip bent over then stood back up. Lance sat up straighter to see what Kip was doing. His mouth fell open when he saw the top curve of Kip’s ass in the mirror.

“Dear God,” Lance mumbled to himself.

He flopped back on the couch. This was it. He could go home and call it a night or he could work up his courage and go join Kip in the shower.

Pushing to his feet, Lance made his decision. He kicked off his shoes, then pulled off his shirt, and last he pushed down his shorts. He walked into the brightly lit bathroom. The shower curtain was clear so he could see every part of Kip’s naked body perfectly. He had a golden tan everywhere except on his ass. It was  bright white having been shielded from the strong rays of the sun.

Hesitantly Lance pulled back the curtain. Kip turned to smile at him.

“Took you long enough.”
